OUR PASTOR

Pastor John Hildebrandt and his wife Renee have been serving Jesus for over 30 years. In 1985, after serving in the Marine Corps, an old friend challenged his religious upbringing by asking him if he had ever repented from his sins and received Jesus Christ. Pastor Hildebrandt was powerfully changed by Jesus when he chose to do this. He found new life and freedom from alcohol and drug abuse by the power of God.

 

His conversion coincided with his girlfriend’s conversion at Illinois State University and both began to study God’s word and seek the Lord’s direction for their lives.

 

Pastor John and Renee have been married for over 30 years (since 1987) and have five children.

 

Pastor John has served in church ministry for 28 years (since 1989) and has Pastored in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, as well as Radcliff, Kentucky. They maintain a vibrant relationship with their home church in Carbondale, Illinois, under the direction of Pastor Terry and Leigh Ann Haynes.
